The Transmedia Vancouver Meetup was founded by Lucas in April 2011 to join those in New York, London, LA, and elsewhere, with the idea that it’s time to add Vancouver to that map.
The group is for transmedia/new media/cross platform storytellers and everyone else interested in or involved with the various aspects of the industry, from television producers to digital media experts to designers to writers and everyone in between. Transmedia is about collaboration, and the group aims to bring people together and get them talking.
We meet every month or two to talk with high profile guest speakers or have large group discussions about various aspects of transmedia storytelling and our own projects.
